Mesh AI fights Coronavirus COVID19

Press release: March 6, 2020

Mesh AI is now free* to use during coronavirus pandemic

Globally, health authorities are closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Cases of #COVID19 also are being reported in a growing number of countries internationally, including the United States and Canada, WHO reports.

As of 11 am EST, March 6th, 2020, close to 100 countries have reported active cases of the deadly disease. It appears that no one and no sector will be left unaffected. More than 101,000 cases have been reported so far and the actual number is likely much higher. While close to 56,000 people have been reported to recover, at least 3400 people have perished and the human losses are rapidly rising.

Governments, corporations, and citizens all required to act swiftly and appropriately. The disease is here to stay for the time being. Timing and communication are key to detect, report, and act on each affected individual, clinic, hospital, and community to minimize losses.

The true heroes of this disaster are the frontline providers. Healthcare workers who are putting the extra hours, taking risks, and sacrificing so much, including their own health. Managing staff time is important more than ever before.

Mesh AI leadership has put together our plan of support. The world’s number 1 Socially Intelligent Staff Scheduler (SISS) cloud platform of choice for healthcare is now free* to use for all affected health units globally during this catastrophic pandemic. As of today, we are ready to provide self-service support to join the platform, create schedules, manage staff requests to balance hours of work, provide efficient communication channels among colleagues, and handle all the shift awaps. Agility is key. #MeshAI4Health is allowing teams to work in full rapid response mode. Announcements and memoranda can be sent directly on the platform and be available to all in real-time using mobile apps (free to deploy as well).

We are pleased to see MESHages saving time and eliminating the need for calls, texts, and emails used to call staff to urgent meetings, announce procedures, broadcast hospital codes, and respond the rapidly-changing nature of the situations at hand in Canada, US, Australia, and other affected areas. Coronavirus preparedness is now communicated, implemented, and enforced on the Mesh AI platform (click here for the steps and a hospital checklist).

Self-register on MeshAi.io today and deploy in minutes.
